Filling those documents may have increased your workload, but I believe it is good for your learning. Most people may think that the outcome (Getting a high grade) is everything. But I would say the opposite. The outcome especially in this project is not the most important. Instead, mastering the procedure of web design is what I really want you to attain - it is applicable to all web projects.

In one month time, what do you expect? Or what do I expect? Regardless the knowledge I learnt from courses, I started touching web development almost 10 years ago. (I still remember the time making a list of Macau ICQ user, a while before Macau handover)

What I want to say here is you CANNOT master web design in just 1 month, even I am still learning it everyday because new stuffs coming out everyday! That’s why it is more important to know the process rather than a sweet outcome and then sayonara it. Because web design concept is not likely to change frequently in time but the skills, technology are.

Website maintenance is an on-going process.

Some tips for your assignment 2.

Make sure that the printer setup is “A4″, and page size is the same as printer. Regarding the drawing scale: use “Metric” and “1:50″. In fact, this scale should be the most practical. While I didn’t limit any of these, you are free to adjust it the way you want appropriately.  - All these settings are located in “File–>Page Setup”.

Well, note that this is a page prepared by PGP (the company itself) therefore it may not be fully objective.

PGP is an advanced technology for information security. However is it user-friendly enough? Is it applicable to everyday tasks? These remained as questions I think, and differs from companies.

For you as a student, your best is to understand its advantages.

Climate Changes…what is the latest situation?

The temperature is not all the way getting higher and higher, it might even have some drops this year.

I don’t know how many of you have paid attention to the previous public seminar, but one thing is for sure that climate would affect our habit a lot, especially in travelling/tourism.

Assignment 1 and Project

When you are struggling with assignment one, you are putting effort on the project also. You should finish assignment 1 first before you start thinking about the topic of your term project.

Why? Don’t you notice the relation between these two works? By understanding the ‘good’ e-commerce website, you should be somewhat inspired for the project topic.

Another tip for you: please check the four typical revenue streams of E-commerce website. In reality, they may happen at the same time. For example, your e-commerce website could include more than one rev. streams to guarantee income.

This is so true, and I don’t have a reason to support myself thinking that “Macau people’s English is better than the HK’s”. Folks, please don’t forget to improve your English as much as you can. That’s what I am trying to do everyday also.

Take English proficiency as a key to open the door to the world, please.

Oh yes, do not compare your deadline with other class. The progress among the three classes is not the same. It is not directly comparable.
